In 1976 Terry Shrum began his apprenticeship training under architect Arthur Dyson, Dean Emeritus of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, and other noted firms such as the Walker-Pinkston Companies and Simpson and Associates. Because of his experience and training, Terry offers excellence in building design and drafting services. His extensive background includes building design and reconstruction work for a wide variety of project types and organizations, including luxury residential, commercial, industrial, health care, educational, criminal justice, private corporations and governmental buildings. Total project statistics are in excess of $300,000,000.00 and 2.6 million square feet.
Terry has the resources needed to meet the special needs of a Drafting Services Provider and Building Design firm and facilitates the efficient processing of Construction Documents. Terry is also fully operational with a Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) system, providing greater accuracy and quality control in his Construction Documents. Terry utilizes a wide range of CADD programs, mainly AutoCad, Cadvance, and Sketchup. He can accurately monitor cost projections for his/your designs utilizing the most current computerized building cost information. He also maintains an extensive library of current building material catalogues, building codes and regulations.
